Virtual Art Gallery Grand Opening

Snapshot of Art Pieces Gersh Academy Students Made

Check out what our talented young Picassos have been working on in Puerto Rico!

Art brings people together, even when we’re apart. We’re bringing students, parents and the community together through a Virtual Art Gallery, part of a month-long celebration of Autism Acceptance and Understanding.

Throughout the month of April, our San Juan campus has planned virtual events and activities such as an online cooking class with a local celebrity chef and a walking event that students and families can do on their own time, in their own neighborhoods.

The Virtual Art Gallery, conceived by the school’s art teacher, Christina Latimer, showcases the hard work and creative talents of Gersh Academy students. Ms. Latimer worked with students to draw, paint or create visual art. But how to share them with the other students and families? We created a virtual display of all the students’ masterpieces and are inviting our parents, community and the public to enjoy. Each student also gets their own personal gallery page to show off their work. So dust off your museum glasses and take a look!
