The First of its Kind
Gersh Academy is proud to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art school on the Cougar Mountain Zoo campus.
Sharing a campus with the zoo opens up a world of possibilities for our students that may not have been available before. Gersh Academy Cougar Mountain is the first school for autism in the country that is attached to a fully-functioning zoo. Breakthroughs in autism education and research have led many experts to attribute interaction with animals and wildlife with better focus and attention.
