Our Admissions Process

1. Call: During the initial intake call, information will be gathered about your child by a caring and knowledgeable admissions member. Pertinent information about the school will be provided, and your questions will be answered. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2. Application: You will be mailed an application to complete and return to the admissions department.
3. Paperwork: Paperwork includes updated evaluations (psychological, educational, speech and language, occupational therapy, neuropsychological, psychiatric, etc.) as well as the most recent Individualized Education Program.
4. Tour: Once the application and paperwork is received, a school tour can be scheduled.
5. Student Visit: We understand that the paperwork does not always accurately reflect the child.  Student visits are critical in gaining a clearer picture as to the needs of the child. The student visit entails a tour of the school, introduction to key staff members and participation in a planned activity in the prospective classroom.
6. Enrollment: After steps 1-5 are completed, the admissions team will meet and determine if our program is able to meet the students needs. If accepted, an enrollment packet will be mailed.
7. Start Date: After the enrollment packet is received, a start date will be determined and the student can get ready for their first day of school!
8. Life Plan: Once the student officially enrolls, a customized life plan will be developed for your child. This individualized plan will take into account specific factors such as the child’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as academic standing, independent living and career development skills.
